As mentioned in our sneak peek of their Engagement session, we had an insta-connection with Adam & Erin. We are so fortunate to continually meet and photograph couples who are just, simply put, ‘great people’. We especially love it when couples remain true to themselves in their own creative and meaningful ways for their wedding celebrations.
Erin was stunningly beautiful in 1940’s styling, with her hair and makeup flawlessly done by Ashley & Sery at the Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. Adam was handsome as ever in his own stylings and nod to Celtic history. A pop of red, a sneak of blue, a gorgeous shrug, and exquisite jewelry. So much attention to detail and personality!
The thistle, was incorporated by special request, to represent Scottish roots
With everyone arriving ‘from away’, it was important for Adam & Erin to share the beauty of Banff National Park with those who’d come to celebrate with them, so we planned a trip to Lake Louise between ceremony and reception for family portraits.
So special to have all the wedding guests join in on a group photo in Lake Louise!
The Angus room served as a beautifully intimate setting for both the ceremony and reception, with the Fairmont Banff Springs catering team creating a gorgeous meal for everyone. Speeches, silly Scottish welcoming traditions, and song completed the evening!
Without further adieu, here is a sneak peek slideshow we created for Adam & Erin to share at their post-wedding celebration this weekend with Erin’s extended family & friends in Alberta. And we’re already starting on creating their One Edition album to share at their post-wedding celebration next summer with Adam’s extended family & friends in Ontario! 3 parties over a year to celebrate their love – AMAZING!
