There’s nothing better on a sunshiny day than a big, bright, awesome yellow canoe showing up at work! Especially when work is a Vermillion Lakes engagement photography session!
That’s what Raf found when he met up with Stephanie and Oren for a paddle at Vermillion Lakes in Banff. We’re loving this fun, Canadiana-style engagement session and are sharing it with you today because… JUST TWO MORE SLEEPS!!!
Two more sleeps until Stephanie and Oren get married here in Canmore, our home town. On Saturday they’re saying “I Do” at Quarry Lake, then heading to Cornerstone Theatre for their reception. Raf will be with them, catching all the memories.
I won’t be there I’ll be spending the day with our puppers – but I know I’ll be thinking of Stephanie and Oren all day long. Every time the big day comes around for one of our couples, I spend the day with my heart beaming and big, big smiles plastered on my face. Can’t help it! #loveourawesomecouples
It was almost a year ago that we met Stephanie at Bridal Expo. She emailed us afterwards saying, ‘we both adore your work. After chatting with you at the Expo, you guys seem like a perfect match and exactly what we’ve been looking for.’
That’s why Expos rock – we get to chat away with couples in person, have a giggle, find out if we’re the right fit and start great relationships. The next show we’re at is Bridal Expo 2015. Come and find us!
We were super extra excited when Stephanie and Oren sent us their ideas for the Vermillion Lakes engagement photography session. They asked if they could bring their canoe, and we said HECK YES!! The Bright Yellow Beast (as they call it) has brought them tons of great memories, so it’s pretty special.
Raf waded out into the water to get some photos, then joined them in the canoe – which was super fun for him. He got to play tour guide as Stephanie and Oren hadn’t been to Vermillion Lakes before, nor the Mt. Norquay lookout.
Mt. Norquay lookout is just minutes away from where they did their Vermillion Lakes engagement photography. It has a beautiful meadow overlooking Banff. That’s where they found two of the infamous Banff Red Chairs left out by Parks Canada – a super treat! They were perfect for this Canadiana engagement session. Mountains, lakes, Parks Canada and canoes. What more could you want?! Oh, that’s right… to be married! 😉
Well, not long now Stephanie and Oren… TWO MORE SLEEPS! YAY!!!!
Enjoy the engagement photos! x
