We’re signing off for the holidays and will be back January 4, 2016. We’ll be out exploring the winter wonderfulness of the Canadian Rockies, delighting in delish eats and drinks, and sharing in holiday cheer with our dear friends.
We know this is an exciting time of year for engagements. If that’s you, congratulations! We’re so looking forward to connecting with you all in the New Year.
In the meantime, below is a little look at some of 2015’s engagements, elopements and weddings that we were honoured to be a part of this past year. As well, we invite you to explore our full blog post collection for even more wedding and engagement wonderfulness over the past 12 months. From -30 weddings to hiking to the tops of peaks, to many many so many awesome moments with our awesome couples, 2015 is one for the memory books indeed.
From our family to yours, we wish you a very Happy Christmas and a most wonderful New Year!
Love Meg, Raf, and puppers Kaia and Mara xxx
A little look at 2015…
The one with the big yellow canoe
There’s nothing better on a sunshiny day than a big, bright, awesome yellow canoe showing up at work! Raf met the owners of “the yellow beast,” Stephanie and Oren, for a paddle at Vermillion Lakes for their engagement photo session.
The one with the cross country skiing
Winter sports are part of Natasha and Josh’s story, and it’s our passion to share those unique stories. This lovely couple were originally thinking of skiing down the aisle! But, y’know, short aisle… long skis… So instead they took to Emerald Lake. Here’s their wedding.
The one with our favourite photo (Well, one of them. There are lots!)
Tim and Grace are at the heart of one of Raf’s & my fave photos of all time. This was our last hiking wedding of summer 2015. Check out all the photos from this fab hiking elopement.
The one at minus 25 celsius (that’s minus 13 fahrenheit)!
Despite temperatures dipping in the range of -25 C (-13 F), Natalie and Ryan—an awesome, adventurous couple—would not be deterred from their dream outdoor winter wedding. And with these photos, we’re so glad they stuck to their shivering guns!
Email us to chat about your wedding and elopement dreams! We’ll get back to you as soon as possible once we’re back in the office (January 4, 2016). Happy Christmas!
