Today we have a special treat for you! Not only do we have Alison and Kevin’s gorgeous Kananaskis engagement photo session, but also some behind-the-scenes shots of… drumroll please… Raf in a tree!
If we’re Facebook buddies you might have seen this already. And if we’re not, stop right now and go and hit ‘Like’! (Only if you want to! )
Bride-to-be Alison was super sweet to send us these action shots from their engagement session. I always say, if you don’t see Raf, look up! He’s likely climbing something to get the perfect angle. He’s almost as agile as these goats in trees!
We met Alison and Kevin at The Wedding Fair in January. With a fun, small world connection to one of our past couples, Alicja and Niall, they already knew Raf’s work. Later, on a cold Calgary winter’s day, we sat down with them over cozy warm drinks and were instantly drawn to their connection, their excitement, and their plans for a beautiful Cochrane Ranchehouse wedding this fall 2015.
Next to the Canadian Rockies, Cochrane is one of our favourite places. It’s got sweeping rolling foothills with the Rocky Mountains rising in the background. Here’s a Cochrane Ranchehouse wedding from last summer. See what we mean? Beautiful!
On the day of their engagement session, Raf met Alison and Kevin at Quarry Lake here in Canmore. Then together they ventured up Spray Lakes Road into Kananaskis Country. WOW! Take a look below – so much amazingness.
Alison is incredibly artistic, creative, and talented. She’s having so much fun creating pieces for their wedding and made a really cute countdown sign for our Kananaskis engagement session. At the time of the session, we were at 120 sleeps to go. YAY!
